A Meeting Host is Unable to Configure Global Call-In for Their Meetings in webex
As a meeting host, you are not able to set up global call-ins for your meetings.
Do you have any instructions on how to set up the global call-in teleconference feature on a host account?
In order to verify that a host’s global call-in feature has been enabled, what should I do?
Cause: The global call-in feature may not be available for a host if the host account has been configured to disable global call-in for meeting participants.
Solution:
To verify the global call-in feature is enabled on the Webex site/host account:
-
Go to the Site Administration page on your Webex site and log in. (Example: https://SITENAME.Webex.com/admin.php)
-
Ensure that the Global call-in box appears to have a green check mark at the top of the Site Administration home page:
-
Go to the User Management section of the navigation bar on the left and click Edit User in the list.
-
Click on the Search button once you have entered the Username: or Email: fields to narrow your search results.
-
Identify the account you wish to modify and click the name of it.
-
The “Allow access to teleconferences via global dial-in numbers” box can be found under Privileges > Telephony Privileges.
-
Click the Update button at the bottom of the page once you have scrolled to the bottom of the page.
