Access Google Calendar Events in Cisco Jabber – Webex
By logging in with your Google credentials in Cisco Jabber, you will have access to the events that are scheduled in Google Calendar. Cisco Jabber will show you a pop-up notification when the time for your event is getting close, and you can also join the event by utilizing Cisco Jabber.
1 Open the Calendar by going to Settings > Options > Calendar.
2 Select Google Calendar from the menu labeled “Calendar Integration,” then click the “OK” button, and then restart Cisco Jabber.
3 A window to sign in to Google Calendar is displayed whenever Cisco Jabber is restarted. After entering your username and password for your Google account, pick the Sign in button.
4 Choose the option to Allow access, and if you are prompted, choose Yes to allow scripts to continue executing on the page.
5 Select the Meetings tab located at the top of the main Cisco Jabber window.
You can disconnect your Google Calendar from Cisco Jabber by going to the Calendar tab, selecting None, and then restarting Cisco Jabber. This will remove the connection between the two services.
You can also go to the page for your Google Accounts and find the section labeled Authorized Access to your Google Account to withdraw Cisco Jabber’s access to your account.
1 Navigate to the Preferences menu and select Meetings. Settings > Conferences & Meetings.
2 To change the settings and restart Cisco Jabber, select Google Calendar from the drop-down list located in the Calendar Integration menu. After making your selection, click the OK button.
3 After entering your username and password for your Google account, pick the Sign in button.
4 Select the Allow access option.
5 Select the Meetings tab located at the top of the main Cisco Jabber window.
