Access to toll-free lines is frequently restricted by telecommunications providers and for that reason must be paid attention to. This paper provides information on the various access limitations that are known to apply to the Webex toll-free numbers in different countries.

Because Webex does not actively enforce the limits, they are not subject to any demands or contracts made by Webex. This paper concentrates on the limits that are applicable to calls made from mobile phones; however, access to toll-free numbers can also be restr icted from payphones, hotels, corporate PABXs, and even land lines (commonly known as fixed lines) using a particular carrier in some instances.

From Outside the Country of Assignment

It is not possible to call toll-free numbers from countries other than the one to which the number is assigned (for instance, a caller can only access a toll-free number in the United Kingdom if they are calling from within the United Kingdom).

From Hotels

Access to toll-free lines may differ from hotel to hotel, and some hotels may charge guests an additional fee to gain access.

From Pay Phones Access

Access to toll-free numbers may be restricted or allowed in varying degrees by the firm that operates the payphone. A charge may be required to access a toll-free number from certain payphones; however, this payment may be refunded after the call is finished.

From Mobile Phones

Access to a toll-free number may be contingent on the mobile carrier of the party making the call, as well as the relationship that mobile carrier maintains with the mobile carrier that hosts the toll-free number. Even though it is not a call to an overseas destination, the party that is making the call might require overseas Direct Dialing (IDD). There is a possibility that the subscriber will be charged for airtime. There is a possibility that access to the toll-free number would be denied while roaming in a foreign country. The following table provides a list of the constraints that are currently known.

This chart outlines the various restrictions that are currently applicable to the Webex toll-free numbers, with a particular focus on mobile phones. There are no known access restrictions to the toll-free number in a nation if the country is not included in the table and Webex has a toll-free number available in that country. If the table does not list a country and Webex has a toll-free number available in that country.
