Add Numbers to a Customer’s Existing Devices in webex
A Cisco Webex DX80 or a Cisco TelePresence SX10 Quick Set can be added to the Cisco Webex desk, room, or conferencing systems in your customer’s organization at any time, so that your customer can have PSTN that they can access.
Whether they’re in the middle of a trial, and have access to ten free PSTN numbers, or whether they’ve subscribed to a paid subscription, all that needs to be done to enable their phone to make calls is to follow a few steps.
Before you begin
-
It is only available in the United States that users will be able to use the PSTN on their Cisco IP phones and Cisco Webex devices.
-
There is no need to obtain a Cisco Webex Calling license in order to use the PSTN for Cisco Webex desk and room devices.
In the partner area of www.admin.webex.com, go to the customers section and select the customer you wish to work with.
You can add numbers to your call by selecting Call > Add Numbers
It is important to enter the information about the PSTN contract of the customer.
Provide the customer with the address where emergency services will be provided.
There is instant validation of the address by the PSTN service provider.
Add standard numbers by searching for them and adding them to the list.
Click on the Next button.
Click Place Order after you have reviewed the order and are satisfied with it.
Set Up Cisco Webex Service by clicking on the Set Up Cisco Webex Service button
Prior to moving on to the next step, you need to have the customer accept the order.
As you proceed through the setup wizard, you will be asked to fill in information about your PSTN (Transmission Control Number), Message Settings, Enterprise Settings, Add Users, then Finish.
