Adding IT contact information for Zoom Rooms system alerts
There are a few alerts that will be displayed on the TV screen for Zoom Rooms, such as an unavailable system, broken audio, and others. The Zoom Room controller or scheduling display can be used directly to alert your internal support of the problem, or you can use the email address and/or phone number provided on the display for direct communication with them.
Prerequisites for Contact IT information for Alert Notification

Versions 3.6 and higher of Zoom Rooms are available for Mac, Windows, and Touch

3.6x and later Zoom Rooms iPad controllers are compatible with Zoom Rooms software

Android controller for Zoom Room

Zoom Rooms are accessible only to account owners and admins

How to add IT contact information for Zoom Rooms system alerts

Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

Then click on Zoom Rooms under Room Management.

Select Account Settings from the drop-down menu.

To access your account profile, click on the Profile tab.

The following information should be entered under Basic:

Support email for reporting issues:

After clicking on edit, you will be asked to enter the email address that you wish to use when reporting issues with Zoom Rooms.

Then click the Send a new code button.

Enter the verification code that was sent to your email address in step 6 into the Verification code box.

If you would like your users to be able to report issues to IT, you may check the box Allow users to do so.

Save the file by clicking the Save button.

Please enter your phone number so that we can receive reports about issues that arise.

How to send an alert from a Zoom Room Controller

On the controller, click the Settings button and then the Help button.

Please click on the Report issues to IT button.

Select the appropriate issue type (issue) from the window Select Issue Type.

In the Your email box, you may add your email address (optional).

Please click the Submit button.
How to send an alert from a Zoom Room Scheduling Display

Select the Scheduling Display from the left hand menu.

It is possible to report an issue to IT by clicking Help then Report Issue.

Select the appropriate issue type (issue) from the window Select Issue Type.

In the Your email box, you may add your email address (optional).
