Allow domains for post-meeting and post-webinar landing pages in webex
A meeting or webinar host can specify a URL so that a landing page will open after the meeting or webinar ends, such as a survey, for attendees to complete. In some cases, hosts won’t be able to save URL’s that are not on the list of domains that are allowed. This feature can be enabled by administrators by creating a list of domains that are allowed to access the platform.
In order to prevent hackers from spoofing sites, the list of approved domains has been put together as a security measure to ensure that only reputable and professional domains can be specified as the host URL. After a meeting or webinar has concluded, the host can open a landing page by entering these allowed URLs at the end of the meeting or webinar.
We do not offer this feature for webinars that are viewed as webcasts.
Site Administration
- Go to Configuration > Common Site Settings > Options from your Webex Site Administration page, and sign in to your account.
- It is necessary to enter the domain names to be allowed in the Allow the following URL domain names text box in the Security Options section of the screen.
There should be a comma between each domain name. We always use the webex.com domain and the script.google.com domain with Webex. A URL that isn’t listed here is not allowed to be specified by a host.
You should not enter the domains of these website types in the large text box that appears under Enable cross-origin resource sharing (CORS). The URLs specified here are for CORS only, and are not for URLs that open after a meeting or webinar has taken place.
- Then click the Update button.
Control Hub
- Go to Services > Meeting > Sites in the customer view of https://admin.webex.com and select the customer’s account.
- When you click Configure Site, you will see a list of all the Webex sites where you can modify the settings.
- Click on the Site Options link under Common Settings.
