Approve External Administrator Request in Webex
If you are an administrator for a Webex organization and you have bought Webex for BroadWorks services from a Service Provider, you will need to grant administrator access for the Service Provider administrator before they can finish provisioning the services. If you are an administrator for a Webex organization, you can find more information about administering Webex organizations here.
After you have placed your order, the administrator of the Service Provider will attempt to become a member of your organization’s user community in order to be able to provide further services. As a consequence of this action, the email that can be seen below will be forwarded to you and up to five other administrators of your organization. In order for the request to be granted, you are required to follow the procedures outlined in the ensuing procedure.
1 To access the Control Hub, click the button located within the email.
2 Enter your login information into the Control Hub when prompted. The Users page loads when you first access Control Hub.
3 To view the list of external administrators, filter the user list by selecting All external administrators from the drop-down menu.
The window for adding an external administrator will appear.
4 Click Add external admin.
5 In the next step, click the Verify email button after entering the email address of the Service Provider administrator that was provided in the email request.
6 If the email address is correct, navigate to the Organization Administrator Roles section and tick the box next to Full administrator privileges.
7 Select the OK button.
The administrator of the Service Provider now possesses the necessary rights to be able to add Webex support for BroadWorks services.
