Ask a question in a Q&A session in Slido- Webex
When the meeting host authorizes a question-and-answer session, the Slido Q&A panel will automatically open in each participant’s meeting window. You are welcome to send any questions you may have to the host.
Slido is a presentation tool that may be used in Webex Meetings. You can utilize Slido with Webex Webinar plans for as many as 10,000 users, provided that the site is running version 41.9 or later. Slido polls can accommodate up to 10,000 guests, whereas quizzes can accommodate up to 5,000 people at a time.
1. Enter your question into the box labeled “Q&A.”
2. (Optional) Select Add a label, and then select the label that corresponds to the subject area to which your query belongs.
Participants have access to labels if the meeting host has allowed that functionality for them.
3. Determine whether you want to submit your question under an alias or with your real name:
- Choose and select your own name in order to make use of it.
- To ask your question in complete secrecy, make sure to select the Anonymous option before sending it.
If you submit your question under a pseudonym, the host, the cohost, and the other participants won’t be able to see who asked the question.
If you do not see an opportunity to post questions in an anonymous capacity, the host has disabled this feature.
4. Go to the Send menu.
Before the questions are made public for everyone to read and answer in real time, the host will go over and check them if they are being moderated.
Choose this option if you need to make changes to the question or if you want to delete it.
After sending the question, you will have the opportunity to change it or delete it for the next five minutes.
If you look on the Q&A panel and see the notice “Questions closed,” it means that the host has stopped accepting new questions during the Q&A session.
