Assigning Administrator Roles in Cisco Partner Hub- Webex
Within partner organizations, administrative positions might be assigned in the manner that is described in this article. It is important to assign particular partner administrator positions in order to specify responsibilities regarding the management of various client organizations and the partner organization.
Overview
When you are managing Webex organizations for your clients, you will have access to the partner management roles that are accessible. After logging into https://admin.webex.com, you will be presented with a list of the customer organizations that you service. This indicates that you have a customer management role inside a partner organization and that you are currently logged in to Partner Hub.
If, after signing in to https://admin.webex.com, you do not see a list of clients, this indicates that the Webex account you are using does not have a partner role. You have successfully logged in to Control Hub in your capacity as an administrator for your very own Webex organization. This article is more pertinent to your needs if you are interested in learning about the many administrator positions that are available in Control Hub.
Customer management roles
Users in the partner organization may be given one or more of the following customer management roles to fulfill. These roles grant the partner permission to manage settings in the Partner Hub or Control Hub for any customer organizations that they are responsible for managing.
- Partner full administrator—possesses the ability to manage settings for each and every consumer that the partner oversees. You also have the ability to delegate administrative responsibilities to users who are already part of your company and designate particular clients to be managed by partner administrators.
- Partner administrator—Can manage settings for customers who were supplied by the administrator or who have been given to the user as a responsibility.
- Partner read-only administrator—may access the settings for each and every customer that the partner is responsible for managing. Does not have access to change any content.
- Help desk administrator (Basic)— Can access the Help Desk view (located on the Troubleshooting page of the Partner Hub). Can conduct searches of all clients who fall under the partner’s umbrella across all organizations for the purpose of diagnosing and providing support. This position offers customer organizations that fall under the partner with temporary read access to the system.
- Help desk administrator (Advanced)—This job covers everything that the Basic role provides, but in addition, the administrator is granted the ability to request full administrator access from a customer administrator in order to resolve any issues.
The table that follows illustrates the access privileges that the aforementioned administrators possess in order to manage settings in Partner Hub and Control Hub on behalf of customer organizations managed by the partner.

As soon as a partner administrator or partner full administrator launches into a customer’s Control Hub, they are automatically given the provisioning administrator position. Webex orders can be provisioned by Provisioning Admins, who also have a limited view of the Control Hub for the customer. Through the use of the capabilities of external admins, the customer full admin has the ability to at any time promote the partner admin from the provisioning admin role to the full admin role.
