Overview

Zoom also offers fee-based toll numbers, toll-free numbers, call-out numbers, and dedicated dial-in numbers in addition to free global dial-in numbers (toll applies).

Meeting hosts should have toll-free and fee-based numbers available so that users can dial in.

Get started with Zoom by using call-me or joining a meeting by phone. You can also host a Personal Audio Conference.

Prerequisites

  • An audio plan subscription number can only be used by a licensed user
  • You may purchase a Pay-As-You-Go audio plan if you’re a business, education, or enterprise

Purchasing audio conferencing

  1. Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by logging in.
  2. Select Account Management then Billing from the navigation panel.
  3. Scroll to the Interested in other available products section in the Current Plans tab. Click on the Audio Conferencing option to add it to your cart.
  4. Select from the following options:
    • You can choose either one of the following payment options:
      • Pay-as-you-go:
      • Suitable for Business and Education Plans
      • Monthly commit plan:
      • Available for all plans
    • Add numbers from countries or regions by selecting the Toll, Toll Call (Fee-based), or Call Out tabs. You can search for specific countries using the search function, then choose the country you would like access to.
    • Personal Audio Conference lines are also available. The number is only available in the United States.
  5. Click Save & Continue to continue.
  6. Make sure you are satisfied with the changes. Click OK to save.
  7. Complete your order by clicking Place Order.

Added Countries/Regions to audio conferencing

  1. Log on to the Zoom website.
  2. Select Account Management, then Billing from the navigation panel.
  3. To view or edit countries and regions, click on the Audio Conferencing plan.
  4. Choosing the Toll-Free option or the Toll Call (Fee-based option) option will appear in the new window that opens.
  5. Simply choose the country or region you want.

Note:

There is a requirement that a minimum of one country or region must be selected when submitting a Call Out.

Viewing available numbers

A list of numbers will appear if you have a subscription to the audio plan:

  • You can view all available numbers once you are logged into your Zoom account
  • by clicking Join Audio during a meeting. Using the flag dropdown menu, select a country to view all its phone numbers.

Service restrictions

  • From the 48 contiguous United States, phone numbers beginning with 800, 844, 866 and 888 can be reached.
  • All 50 United States and Canada have access to numbers beginning with 855 and 877
  • Pay-per-call toll numbers are only available in the country from which they originated
