Audiocodes for the MP-124E – Manual Reconfiguration Procedure in webex

In order to install the Audiocodes ATAs to the Webex Calling service, a procedure manual, firmware files, and the default Webex Calling configuration files must be attached, which are needed to complete the configuration process.

Please find below the list of supported Audiocodes Manufacturer Part Numbers which can be used when using Webex Calling with Audiocodes. As a factory preinstalled feature on these models, the client certificate required by the client is already installed on the device.

This procedure should be followed if your Audiocodes ATA was not purchased or leased directly by your provider from your Audiocodes ATA. Due to the fact that every Webex Calling device that is manufactured and shipped with the appropriate firmware and configuration files has been configured from the factory.

The firmware version of your device should match the one in MP124E_SIP_F6.60A.340.001.cmp, which you can find in the download section. In order to ensure that your device has connected successfully to the configuration server, this check must be performed. A version of the Audiocodes ATA Firmware for Webex Calling is included in this article.

Despite the fact that Audiocodes ATAs can be found in a variety of models, it is important to remember that Webex Calling uses proprietary versions of Audiocodes ATA firmware. Due to the fact that some end customers might not be able to access this software easily, we have attached it to this blog post.

• Reconfiguration of Webex Calling Manually is as follows:

  • A manual configuration procedure for AudioCodes MP-1xx ATA is provided in the file Webex Calling.doc.

• Webex Calling Firmware Files: Files that contain the proprietary features of Webex Calling (Firmware contained in one .ZIP file)

  • MP124E_SIP_F6.60A.340.001.cmp is the device code for the Audiocodes MP-124E device

• In order to properly configure Webex Calls, the following files are needed: (The configuration files can be found in a single .ZIP file)

  • A: MP-124E = MP-124-Cisco Webex Calling.ini is the audio code for MP-124E.

It is currently only possible to use the AudioCodes MediaPack 124E- 24FXS with Webex Calling. We do not currently support other models of AudioCodes ATA.
