If you are in a meeting with computer audio, then you can choose to automatically join the meeting without being prompted every time you pick up your phone to join the meeting. This setting simplifies the process of joining a new Zoom meeting or event by allowing Zoom to access your computer’s speaker and microphone whenever you join. You will not have to repeat the process of granting Zoom access to your computer’s speaker and mic each and every time you join a new meeting.
You may, however, wish to disable this feature in the future if you are planning on changing the audio type for Zoom, such as changing to telephone, in the future. Check out our audio types page for more information.
