Block users from joining external meetings in Control Hub-Webex
You have the ability to prevent users from joining meetings that are taking place outside of your organization, which will assist to make your business more secure.
When you prevent users from joining external meetings, they are unable to participate in Webex gatherings that are held from websites that are located outside of your company. However, you can enable users to participate in meetings on specific Webex sites by adding those Webex sites to an approved list option. This will allow users to participate in meetings on those specific Webex sites.
Before you get started, you will need to claim the domains of any users whose access you intend to restrict from joining external meetings. Even if the setting is enabled, users from your organization who have a domain that hasn’t been claimed are still able to participate in meetings hosted by other organizations.
1. From the customer view at https://admin.webex.com, navigate to the Meeting and Settings menu option.
2. Make sure the switch in the section labeled “Block external meetings” is turned on.
3. Enter a Webex site into the space provided under “Approved sites list for external meetings,” and then click the Add button.
