Bluetooth Pairing Failed on a DX70 or DX80 in the Cisco Webex Room OS in webex
When using Cisco Webex Room OS on a DX70 or DX80, Bluetooth pairing fails.
On Cisco Webex Room OS, I have been unable to pair my Bluetooth headset with my DX70 or DX80.
Cisco Webex Room OS on DX70 or DX80 has a fairly simple interface that can be used for troubleshooting Bluetooth headset pairing failures.
A pair failure appears in red in Cisco Webex Room OS when you attempt to pair a Bluetooth headset with a DX70 or DX80. The error message is as follows:
As a result of the pairing timeout, the connection may have been lost during pairing or other issues may have occurred as well.
To troubleshoot the issue, check the following:

Can you tell me if Bluetooth is enabled on the DX? The Bluetooth settings can be found in System Settings

Does the headset appear in the list of devices in the device manager? Settings > System > Bluetooth

Is the headset compatible with the Hands-Free Profile (HFP)? – Make sure you read the manual that came with the headset

Is the headset in “Pairing mode” at the moment? If you are not sure how to set your headset in pairing mode, you may want to check the headset manual

Ensure that you are within the range of the headset before using

If the headset is not powered on and does not have a charge on the battery, please check it
