Can we customize audio using the zoom audio library?  

The audio library is there for selecting, uploading the customized audio, or for recording by the zoom users and zoom admins. For creating or innovating the audio simply then just modify the text to speech. The customization of audio is allowed for a list of audio types. Those are- 

• Zoom admins. 

• The by default extension audio. 
• The customized extension audio. 

• Zoom users. 

• For holding the music or voicemail greeting the use of zoom custom audio. 

Preconditions. 

• You should have an education,  business, enterprise, pro zoom account. 
• Also, you should own the zoom phone license. 

Remember, the internet explorer fails to support the zoom recording of custom audio. 

 

Restrictions on the audio library. 

Before you settle to use the zoom audio library, you should always be aware of the restrictions or limitations. Here are a few- 

• Zoom admins should record, play, delete or rename the zoom users’ custom audio files. 
• Your zoom audio library list will be shown to you but can’t check or edit the audio libraries of other zoom admins or users. 
• The storage for your audio library is viable for up to 100 zoom files or recordings. 
• The present custom audio which can be set for the extension is played by the zoom admins. For instance, you are eligible to play the present greeting notification while noticing the call queue’s settings. 

How to access the audio library

Find the audio setting you want to customize. See the following article for more information on available audio settings:

  • Users: Custom audio for voicemail greeting and hold music

After finding the audio you want to customizing, follow the sections below to customize it.

Way of choosing from the existing audio list. 

In case you have earlier converted the text to speech, or generated audio, or uploaded the audio then you can choose from the library of the already present audio files. 

Step 1. You have to open the audio library. 

Step 2. Opt for any already present audio file from the library. 

Step 3. It’s optional. Run through the available options of the audio file to edit the screen name. Or you can download, delete or play the zoom audio file. 

Or as a second option, you can consider modifying the text to speech by following the below steps.

Procedure to convert the zoom text to speech. 

The most convenient way of recording or creating audio is by converting the zion text to speech. 

Step 1. You have to open the audio library. 

Step 2. Tap on the add audio section. 

Step 3. There, choose the text to speech feature and tap on it. 

Step 4. Input the below info- 

• Message to play. You can input the text which you decided to convert to speech. 

Advice. Ensure that you can back up the text because later you won’t be able to edit the message. 

• Audio name- input the screen name which would assist you in recognizing the audio file from the library. 

• Voice. By using the drop-down menu you can choose the linguistic dialect for the female or male voice. 

Step 5. The play button is available at the text box’s button left corner for previewing the audio. 

Step 6. For ending the conversion procedure from the text to speech you can tap add. And then you can add the subsequent audio file to the audio library. 

 

Way of recording the custom zoom audio. 

For directly recording the custom zoom audio in the web portal you have to follow the steps. A workable mic will help you in the recording procedure. 

Remember,  those recording custom audio fails to support IE. 

Step 1. You have to open the audio library. 

Step 2. Tap on the add audio section. 

Step 3. There’s a record by computer section. Tap on it. Remember, if notified by the browser you have to permit zoom for using the mic.

Step 4. You can adjust and raise or lower the mic volume by tracing the on-screen instructions. Tap next. 

Step 5. For initiating the audio recording tap on record. 

Step 6. For ending or pausing the recording there’s a red stop switch. 

Step 7. Optional. You can choose from any of these features. 

• Re-Recorded. When you are not satisfied with the zoom recorded file then re-record it. 

• The play button. To play the recorded file. 

• Download. As a WAV file type, you can download the zoom recorded file. 

Step 8. For adding the audio library’s recording tap on add. 

Step 9. Tap on the use of the audio feature. 

For playing it in the future in the zoom phone audio, your recorded audio will get added. 

 

Procedure to upload the audio file. 

When you know how to record the audio but are unaware of uploading it then, follow the given procedure. 

Advice. By using the zoom web portal if before you have downloaded or recorded the zoom audio file then you can upload it and reuse it. Here’s how- 

Step 1. You have to open the audio library. 

Step 2. Tap on the add audio section. 

Step 3. Tap the upload section. 

Step 4. By choosing the supported audio file you have to tap on upload. 

Remember, the (?) The icon helps in viewing the conditions of the audio file. Tap on it. When the conditions are not fully met then also it can be played and uploaded on the web portal. However, you can’t play it if others make a call. 

Step 5. Tap on using the audio. 

For further use, uploaded audio can be added to the audio library of the zoom phone.
