Change or delete your profile picture on your Webex site
When you mute your microphone or turn off your video during a Webex Meeting, your profile picture will be displayed in the Participants panel. Having a photo of yourself displayed on your profile makes it simpler for others to identify you. You may be able to alter or remove your profile picture on this site, depending on the administrator settings that are in place.
You have the ability to change either the default avatar or an existing image if the settings of the website permit you to make changes to your profile photo.
- After you have logged in to your Webex site, click on your name located in the upper right-hand corner of your Webex site, and then click on My profile.
- Click the Change button next to your profile image.
Your initials are displayed in a circle if you have not yet uploaded a photo to your profile.
You might be required to click the Edit my profile > link depending on how the site is set up.Make a new one your profile photo.
- Click the Upload Picture button, then navigate to the location of the picture you wish to upload using the arrow keys.
Use an image that has a resolution of at least 720 pixels on each side and is less than 5 megabytes in size.
To zoom in, use the slider located at the bottom of the screen. To move the image to a different location, drag it.
- Select Save.
Delete your profile picture
You have the option of deleting your profile image if you would like to revert to the standard avatar that consists of your initials.
- After you have logged in to your Webex site, click on your name located in the upper right-hand corner of your Webex site, and then click on My profile.
- Select the option to edit my profile.
- Select the Delete option that appears after you right-click on your profile image.
- Choose OK from the dialogue box that appears after the confirmation.
Wait a few minutes for the cache to be cleared, and the image to change back to the one with your initials when it was originally uploaded.
