New chat messages can be notified at any time. While you are in a meeting, you can set do not disturb hours. You can also mute specific group chats or channels so that you will not receive notifications for those groups or channels.
Click the downward-pointing arrow next to the channel or group chat name. In addition, you can click the information icon next to a channel or group chat name.
The Notifications page will appear. You can edit the following channels or chat groups:
Show unread message badge: Next to the channel or chat group name, display the number of unread messages.
Push Notifications: Select which notifications you would like to receive.
All messages: Get notified of all messages in the group.
Only direct messages, mentions: You will get a push notification only if you are tagged when the @all or chat mention is used.
Nothing: No push notifications are sent.
Mute Channel / Mute Chat: Removing all push notifications on your dock and taskbar as well as the red icons next to the name of the channel or group chat, the Chat tab, and the Zoom app will make things much simpler.
