Cisco Jabber Drains Mobile Device Battery

To reduce battery drain, check the following:

  • Detailed Logging— Enable this option only if you intend to collect troubleshooting information in order to fix issues with Cisco Jabber.
To disable:
  1. Tap the Settings menu, then select Problem Reporting.
  2. To disable the detailed logging, you will need to tap the switch.
  • The longevity of the battery might be impacted if the 3G or Wi-Fi connection is poor. You should relocate to an area where the network signal is better.
