Citrix device default configurations (Linux) in zoom
The Citrix Workspace app for Linux has been updated with Version 2010 to display all audio devices on the local network that are available in a session. There is no longer a grouping of the devices under the term “Citrix HDX Audio”, but rather each device appears with its own name, instead of being grouped together. The devices that are available in a session can be switched to dynamically at any time. Before launching a session, you do not have to select the default audio input or output as you had to do in previous versions. Whenever an audio device is plugged in or removed, the sessions will be updated dynamically.
Enhanced audio redirection has been enabled by default, starting with Version 2012, and is a feature which will be available in the future.
To disable this feature, you will need to follow the steps below:
-
The module.ini file can be found in the ICAROOT/config/ folder by opening the module.ini file.
-
Add the following entry to the clientaudio section of the config file:
VdcamVersion4Support=False
