Clean Your Cisco Headset in webex
Cleaning your headset may be necessary from time to time.
- If your headset has a headband or ear cups, make sure that they are clean and dry by wiping them with a soft cloth.
- Optional: A soft, clean, lint-free cloth will be necessary in order to wipe down the headphones with a small amount of a non-alcohol-based cleaning solution. If the headset still needs additional cleaning, use a soft, clean, lint-free cloth to wipe the headset with it as you clean it. There is a possibility that a 70% solution of isopropyl alcohol could discolor or cloud the surface of the device over a period of time, potentially deteriorating its integrity over time due to its increased pH value.
In the event that you need to disinfect the headset, you may use an isopropyl alcohol solution consisting of 70% at your own risk.
In order to replace the ear pads on the headsets, replacements are available for purchase.
Ensure that you do not allow water to get into the ear cups, the USB-C port, or the 3.5mm jack of your headphones.
In terms of warranties and product guarantees, we do not cover the damage to your Cisco products that occurs during cleaning and disinfection.
