Collect Cisco Desk Camera logs in webex
It is important for administrators to keep track of Cisco Desk Camera logs so they can troubleshoot issues with the cameras.
If you would like to get camera logs, you can do so in any of the following ways.
Collect logs with the Cisco Desk Camera app
Whenever you encounter a problem with the camera app on your phone or with your camera, collect the camera logs. It is stored in the following locations as compressed files the collected log files that have been collected:

On Windows:
C:\Users\<user_ID>\AppData\Roaming\Cisco Webex Desk Camera

On macOS:
Macintosh HD:\Users\<user_ID>\Library\Application Support\Cisco Webex Desk Camera
- You can now access Cisco Desk Camera from the app store.
- Locate the camera logs under the Support tab.
- Start collecting logs by clicking Collect.
- You can open the log files directory by clicking Open.
Collect camera logs with Cisco Accessory Hub
When you encounter issues with your camera, you can obtain camera logs using the Cisco Accessory Hub. Download directories are specified in your browser for saving camera logs.
Chrome and Edge are the most recent versions of Chrome and Microsoft Edge that can be used with Cisco Accessory Hub.
- Your computer needs to be connected to your camera.
- Your web browser should take you to https://upgrade.cisco.com/accessories, Cisco’s accessory hub.
- Connect by clicking here.
- Click Connect on the device list to connect your camera.
- At the bottom of the page, click on Get logs and then Next.
Collect camera logs with Webex Meetings
You can capture camera logs for troubleshooting with the Send Problem Report feature within Webex Meetings if you encounter any issues when using your Cisco Desk Camera with Webex Meetings.
- You can submit a problem report by clicking Help > Report a Problem.
- You need to select the type of problem you are having and the meeting or session where the problem occurred.
- Add a description of the problem to provide details about the problem.
- Send the report by clicking on the Send Report button.
Collect camera logs with the Webex App
In the event that you encounter problems with your Cisco Desk Camera when using the Webex App, you can capture camera logs within the Webex App for troubleshooting purposes by using the Send logs feature.
You can find the logs at the following location:

C:\Users\<user_ID>\AppData\Local\CiscoSpark

/Users/<user_ID>/Library/Logs/SparkMacDesktop
- You can view your profile picture by clicking it.
- To send a log file, select Help > Send log file.
