Collecting Windows MSINFO in Zoom App
In some cases, Zoom Support needs to access your Windows computer’s MSINFO to help troubleshoot a problem. There are two methods you can use.
Option one:
- Search for msinfo32 by clicking on the Windows icon. Once you have run the program Msinfo32 or System Information (depending on your version of Windows), you can view the information.
- Select File, Export…, and then click the Export button.
- Name the file, and then click Save.
- You can upload the log file to Dropbox or Google Drive and send us the link in your support ticket.
The second method
- Run the Command Prompt by clicking the Windows icon and searching for it.
- Type in the following commands and hit Enter:
-
Msinfo32 /report c:\temp\msinfo2212.txt
- In your support ticket, find the file in your temp folder and send it to us. Visit Microsoft Support to learn more about MSInfo.
