Hosts of Zoom Events can choose the type of event they wish to host depending on the type of interaction, the size and scale of the event, the number of sessions, and the experience they want for their participants at the event. It is also possible to run streaming previews of each of the sessions, as well as simultaneous sessions, in conjunction with dedicated chat rooms. As part of the event, attendees will have access to an enhanced lobby, sponsor booths, and sponsor networking opportunities.
Multiple sessions event formats can be used in a variety of ways, but some examples include, but are not limited to:
- Convention-center style events

When you are adding more sessions to a single-session event, you have the option to update the event to a multiple-session event, if you wish to do so.
Use cases for the event format include but aren’t limited to:
- All-Hands Meeting
- Townhall Style Meeting
- Networking events

Recurring series event
The recurring series event can be used to schedule events with multiple occurrences so that each occurrence of the event has the same settings and information so that every occurrence is consistent. There are three types of meetings that can be scheduled on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Attendees are able to register for or purchase tickets for a recurring series event if they wish to attend the entire series. Additionally, hosts can create drop-in tickets that allow attendees to sign up or purchase tickets on the day of the series they are attending.
