Conference Room Connector supported devices in zoom App
Zoom Conference Room Connector licenses allow SIP or H.323 video endpoints to join and participate in Zoom meetings through the Cloud Room Connector.
With the Zoom API Connector, certain Polycom and Cisco room systems can be enhanced with calendaring and other features.
Supported protocols and codecs for joining Zoom Meetings
Zoom Cloud Room Connector endpoint requirements:
- Communication protocol H.323 or SIP
- For 3rd party encryption or if the device will be managed, use TLS 1.2 or higher.
The following audio codecs are supported:
- G.711
- G.722
- OPUS
Note: OPUS is currently only supported with SIP connections.
Video codecs supported:
- H.264
- H.264 High Profile

SIP / H.323 endpoints as Zoom managed devices
Administrators also have access to additional features via the Zoom Conference Room Connector license. Zoom devices can be configured with the following features:
- Meeting scheduling with One-Touch Join
- by creating a “Join Zoom Meeting” button
- called “Meet Now”
- Make sure the device is registered as a Zoom Phone
- using the per-device configuration options
- under Connection Status
- Manage Other Devices
Supported devices
Supported Joining Meetings refer to self-reporting devices from customers or vendors. As a Zoom Managed Device, devices that are listed as Supported have been tested by Zoom.
Zoom has tested and verified the supported versions listed below. Versions other than those listed below may not be compatible.
