Configure the cleanup timer on Board and Desk Series in webex

In the Board and Desk Series, you can configure the cleanup timer

Data stored on your device, such as whiteboards and websites, may be deleted at your discretion.

Shared devices are the only ones covered in this article.

The whiteboard and web activity on your computer is automatically deleted every night at midnight by default. The configuration allows you to disable daily cleanups or set a different time.

Visit the device’s local web interface to access this configuration. Find out how to access Device Settings by reading this article. Choose the following configurations from the Setup tab when the web interface of the device has been launched:

  • Configuration > RoomCleanup > AutoRun > HourOfDay : Cleanups can be scheduled at any time.

  • Configuration > RoomCleanup > AutoRun > ContentType > WebData : Delete the browsing activity daily at the set time if you want it to be deleted every day. Webex Boards and Desk Pros with web engines can utilize this configuration.

  • Configuration > RoomCleanup > AutoRun > ContentType > Whiteboards: Whiteboards can be deleted on a daily basis if you choose that option.
