Connect a Webex desk device to Webex App with a USB-C cable
The Webex App is available on your Windows PC and allows you to collaborate with both messages and calls from your Webex device.
It’s easy to move from messaging people on the Webex App to calling them or meeting with them on your Webex desk device when you connect the Webex App and your Webex desk device.
There are two options for connecting to an UltraSound system – a USB-C connection and a wireless connection. In our experience, this is the best approach for people who work in an open office space in which Webex devices are present. In addition to that, we also recommend it to anyone who is operating a laptop in shell mode with their desk devices.
The Webex App also allows you to perform the following tasks once you have connected your device:

Your computer’s screen can be used to share content with other people.

The volume on the device you are using at your desk can be controlled.

Once you have booked a room, you will need to sign out of your device.
Administrators do not need to configure this feature in order to use it.
Before you begin
If your device came with a USB-C cable, you will need to use that cable.
- Your USB-C cable should be connected to the USB port on your computer and the desk device.
In the top-right corner of the Webex App, you can see the name of the desk device that you have.
- You can disconnect your device by going to the Webex App and selecting the Disconnect option.
