Contact IT Information for Alert Notification in zoom App
In Zoom Rooms, the TV display shows alerts like system unavailability, audio disconnect, or other. In addition to using the email address and/or phone number on the Zoom Room controller or scheduling display, you can directly contact your internal support team about the issue.

Prerequisites for Contact IT information for Alert Notification
- Version 3.6x and higher of Zoom Rooms for Mac and Windows/Touch
- As well as the Zoom Rooms iPad controller for version 3.6x and higher
- As well as the Zoom Rooms Android controller
- Controller, if you are the administrator of the Zoom Rooms account
- Where the Zoom Rooms Support Email as well as the Zoom Rooms Support Phone is enabled
How to add IT contact information for Zoom Rooms system alerts
- Sign into Zoom’s web portal.
- Select Zoom Rooms from the Room Management menu.
- Under Account Settings, click Edit.
- Choose Profile from the tabs.
- Enter the following information under Basic:
- Support email for reporting issues:
- Type your email address in the email address field.
- Then click Send a new code.
- Please type the verification code provided in step 6 into the Verification code box.
- If you want users to be able to report issues to IT, check the box Allow users to report issues.
- Then click Save.
- Support Phone:
- This phone number will be used to receive issue reports.
- Please click Save.

How to send an alert from a Zoom Room Controller
- Go to the Settings menu, then click Help.
- Click Report an issue to IT.
- Pick the appropriate issue(s) from the Select Issue Type window.
- Enter your e-mail address (optional).
- Click on Submit.
How to send an alert from a Zoom Room Scheduling Display
- To view the Scheduling Display, click on the icon.
- To report an issue to IT, click on Help.
- Select the appropriate issue(s) from the Select Issue Type window.
- Enter your e-mail address in the Your e-mail field (optional).
- Click the Submit button.
