Controlling slides shared by another participant in zoom app
During a meeting or webinar, the presenter can give slide control to other participants, so that the participants can control the progression of slides as the presenter presents his or her part of the presentation or when each participant presents his own part of the presentation. The presenter does not have to ask for a slide change when the presentation is ready, which interrupts the flow of the meeting and interrupts the presenter’s presentation. If more than one participant is present in a meeting, or there are more than one panelist in a webinar, slide control can be delegated.

How to assign slide control
-
If you want to start a meeting or join a webinar, you can do so.
-
Start sharing a presentation in Keynote, PowerPoint, or Google Slides by clicking the share button.
Note: Our articles about sharing Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slide presentations can be helpful if you are looking for information on how to share them. -
Click Slide Control from the sharing toolbar on the left of the screen.
Note: As a full-screen presentation mode user, you will only be able to access this option if you are in that mode. -
If you would like to give slide control to one or more participants, select them.
The number of participants with slide control will appear next to the slide control button as the number of participants with slide control increases.
As long as you continue sharing, a participant will maintain slide control as long as they are assigned slide control while you are sharing. You will lose control of the slide when you exit presentation mode, however, you will regain control when you start presenting again. Clicking on the name of an individual will allow you to revoke their access to the slides, or if you wish to revoke all access, you can click on the Stop Slide Control button or stop sharing completely by clicking on the Stop Slide Control button.
How to use slide control
The presenter will enter presentation mode when you have been given access to slide control and when a banner notification will appear to inform you of this change, a message will appear advising you of the new slide control. Located in the bottom-left corner of the presentation view, the slide controls can be found just below the banner, just below the banner.
-
You can move the presentation backwards or forwards by clicking on the left arrow button and the right arrow button.
-
It is also possible to move the presentation backwards or forwards on your keyboard by simply pressing the left and right buttons on your keyboard.
