Converting a Zoom Phone provisioned device to a Zoom Phone Appliance
It is possible for Zoom Phone admins to convert a Poly or Yealink phone that is provisioned with Zoom Phone to a Zoom Phone Appliance, which allows the phone to be used as a Zoom Phone Appliance by the user assigned to the phone.

How to convert a Zoom Phone provisioned device to a Zoom Phone Appliance

Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by logging in.

In order to assign or unassign desk phones or common area phones, you need to navigate to the Phones & Devices section:

If you click Phone System Management in the navigation menu, then click Phones & Devices in the next window.

You can find the Phone System Management menu item in the navigation menu and then click Users & Rooms from the menu. The Common Area Phones tab will appear after you click on it.
Note: Note: For those individuals who have created a Zoom account after May 21, 2022, or for those who have enabled the New Common Area Experience in their account, you will find common area phones in the new Common Area tab, which can be found under the Users & Rooms section.

If you want to convert a phone, you will need to click on its display name.

You can convert the page at the bottom of the page by clicking the Convert button.

Confirm the conversion by clicking the Convert button.
There will be a device listed under Device Management when the device has been added.
