Create language channels and assign interpreters during meetings, Personal Room meetings and webinars in webex
During the pre-assignment of audio channels in Webex Meetings and Webex Webinars, it may happen that you forgot to add a channel for audio. For each language of each participant, the interpreter must be assigned from the preassigned list, or else another participant can be turned into an interpreter by changing the role of another participant.
It is not possible to use this feature when viewing webinars in webcast mode.
Click on More options, and then select Start interpretation if you have not assigned interpreters before the meeting.
- You can manage interpretations by clicking on Interpretation > Manage interpretations.
- Select the source and target languages by clicking on Add new language.
- Using the drop-down menu, choose an available interpreter or select a participant who would like to be elevated to the role of interpreter, and then click the Apply button.
