Customizing audio greetings and hold music in zoom
You can use the audio library in Zoom Phone if you have the Zoom Phone feature activated on your account. This allows you to customize Zoom Phone audio for voicemail, greetings, and hold music, depending on your needs. A caller’s voicemail greeting, for example, can be customized so that it plays before the caller is routed to voicemail as soon as possible.

How to customize audio greetings voicemail and hold music

Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

Click the Phone option in the navigation menu on the left side of the page.

On the Settings tab, you will find a number of options.

When a call is not answered, you can either do one of the following things under the Call Handling section:
As you scroll down the call handling audio greetings table below, you will see a list of different settings based on the choice you make in your call handling settings. -
You can use the Default audio, or click Edit and then select one of the following options:

Choose from Asset Library: If you have set up a library for your account, you will be able to choose an audio greeting.

Add Audio: You can add an audio greeting to your message.

Using the Default audio option or clicking Edit to select one of the following options is a good idea in the Others section, to the right of Hold Music:

Choose from Asset Library: This option is available if you have created an audio library in your account.

Add Audio: You can add an audio greeting to your message.
When you place the call on hold, an audio will play for the other party so that they can hear what is happening. It applies to desktop clients, mobile apps, as well as desk phones that have been provisioned by your admin and are being used on a desk.
Note: Parked calls are not affected by this setting. The Zoom hold music will be played instead of the default Zoom music for the call participant who is on hold when the call is placed on hold. For parked calls, it is not possible to customize the hold music that plays during the call.

Greeting & Leave voicemail instruction: An announcement is played before your voicemail is routed to your inbox. It is also a good idea to include instructions for leaving a voicemail in this greeting. |

Greeting & Menu: The caller is given the option to connect with an operator and/or leave a voicemail before the call is answered. In the call handling settings, there is an IVR menu displayed that should be explained by this greeting. According to which options you have enabled, this option will have one of these labels:
Leave voicemail instruction: When the caller presses a 1 to leave a voicemail, this greeting plays after the initial voicemail greeting above. The instructions for leaving a voicemail should be included in this greeting as well. |
Play a message, then disconnect

Message Greeting:The caller is greeted with the default or customized message before the call is ended. |
