Customizing your Zoom Rooms background
There is the ability to create custom backgrounds on Zoom using a web portal that you can access from any Zoom Room in your account, or even for an entire floor, location, or individual room in your Zoom account.
In addition to customized digital signage content, Zoom Rooms scheduling display images can also be customized to use a custom image on your scheduling display device so that you can display information when the room isn’t in use.
Prerequisites for managing the customization of a Zoom Rooms background

Ownership or administrative privileges of an account

A version of Zoom Rooms of at least 5.1.0 is required
Zoom Rooms background image requirements
Here are some guidelines that you should follow before uploading your custom background image:

Format: GIF, JPG/JPEG, and 24-bit PNG (no alpha) are all acceptable formats. There will be a white background behind any transparent areas of PNGs when they are uploaded.

Minimum dimension: 960px

Maximum dimension: 1920px

Recommended dimensions: The image size should be 1920 x 1080 pixels (16:9 aspect ratio). In the case of a background image that does not have an aspect ratio of 16:9, you will see black bars between the image and the background.

Maximum file size: 5 MB
In order to create your own background, you can use the Zoom brand assets that are available to you.
How to upload a default background image for all Zoom Rooms

If you are a Zoom account owner or administrator, sign into the Zoom web portal.

To zoom in on a room, click on Zoom Rooms in the navigation menu at the top of the page.

There is a link in the Account Settings section that you can click on.

On the Account Profile page, click the Edit button.

You can find the Zoom Rooms background image under the Setup section.

Please click the Upload Image button.
Note: Make sure your image complies with our guidelines before you upload it. -
Click on the Open button after you have selected your image.
The image preview will be displayed below the settings where you can see how it will look. -
If you want to make the default Zoom Room image lockable for all Zoom Rooms in your account, then you can click on the lock icon, then click Lock to confirm that you are going to lock the Zoom Room image.
Whenever you wish to change the default background, you can click on Upload New Image below the current default background, if you wish to do so in the future. It is possible to delete an image from the default Zoom Room background if you are willing to remove it from all Zoom Rooms in your account.
How to change the background image for an individual room, floor, or location
There may be circumstances where the default image is locked or if a specific room, floor, or location does not have a default image set. You can upload a custom image to replace the default one.

If you are a Zoom account owner or administrator, sign into the Zoom web portal.

To zoom in on a room, click on Zoom Rooms in the navigation menu at the top of the page.

In order to apply the background to a particular room, floor, or location, use the tabs and search functions on the tabs to locate it, and then click the Edit button on the right hand side of it.
Tip: It may be necessary to enlarge the current window in order to see the Edit button, or you can use the horizontal scroll bar found at the bottom of the panel in order to view it. -
There is a tab called Room Profiles that you need to click on.

The Zoom Rooms background image can be found under the Setup section of Zoom Rooms settings.
A preview of the default image will appear next to the “Using account setting” notification on the right side of your screen if the account is using a default image. -
Click on Upload a New Image and follow the instructions.
Note: Make sure your image complies with our guidelines before you upload it. -
Click on Open after you have selected your image.
The new custom image will be displayed in a preview for the specific room or location that you enter.
Tip: To remove the image that you have uploaded, click Reset. At the account level, there is a default image that will replace any image you upload if there is a default image already uploaded.
