Dashboard for meetings and webinars in zoom App
Overview
View the current live meetings and webinars as well as previous meetings and webinars in the Meetings and Webinars section of the Dashboard. The CSV file can be exported for each previous meeting and webinar. In addition to audio, video, screen sharing, and recording, the meeting overview will indicate whether these tools were also used. The account overview will also indicate which licenses each user has.

Meetings
Accessing the Meetings tab
On the Dashboard, click the Meetings tab:
- Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.
- The Dashboard can be accessed by clicking the Dashboard link.
- Click Meetings to access the Meetings page.
- Alternatively, you can access historical data by clicking Past Meetings.
Using the Meetings tab
You will be shown multiple columns of data when you click the Meetings tab, which includes information about current meetings as well as meetings you have hosted. You will be shown the following columns by default:
- Meeting ID:
- A unique identifier for the meeting.
Note: - In addition to Zoom meeting IDs, session IDs are available for third-party platforms. You can add 3rd Party ID as an additional column by clicking Customize in the top-right corner.
- Topic:
- What the meeting will be about.
- Host:
- Who is hosting the meeting.
- Displays meeting quality scores and network alerts, including health, issues, video quality, audio quality, and screen share quality.

- Start Time:
- Here you can find out at what time the meeting started.
- Participants:
- You can see at any given time how many people are currently in the meeting.
- Phone:
- If a participant is joining the meeting via the telephone, it will appear here.
- VoIP:
- This indicates if anyone would like to participate in the audio via their computer or mobile device.
- Video:
- Identify whether any participants are using a digital camera to send video to the group.
- Screen Sharing:
- Identify whether screen sharing took place at any point during the meeting.
- Recording:
- Indicate whether or not a recording of the meeting took place.
- CRC:
- Indicators if a meeting has been joined by a SIP/H.323 device.
- Encryption:
- Displays the encryption status of a meeting.
You can also add other informational columns to the view, such as Scheduling Tracking Fields. Adding additional columns is as simple as:
- On the right-hand side, click on Customize.
- Add the fields you wish to your view by checking the boxes left of each.
- By clearing the check box to the left of the fields, you can also remove them from your view.
You can search for meetings using the search field in the Meeting Center. You can use the meeting host‘s user name, email address, user group, meeting ID, or meeting topic.
Clicking the Issues Topic and selecting a specific issue with that meeting will allow you to retrieve the list of live or previously held meetings with participants that encountered a particular or multiple issue such as audio, video, screen sharing, CPU, or disconnect and reconnect issues.
Meeting and participant details
Click on the meeting ID in the Live Meetings or Past Meetings tabs to see more information about the meeting. Select the Breakout Rooms Participants tab after selecting a meeting ID if the meeting had breakout rooms.
Participants who have attended the meeting in the past and those who have attended in the present will be listed on the Meeting Details page, including the following information:
- Participant:
- This is the participant’s display name.
- Device:
- From which the participant connected.
- IP Address:
- Computer or device from which the participant connected.
- Location:
- Participant’s geographical location.
- Network Type:
- The type of network the participant belongs to. These may include wired networks, WiFi networks, or 4G networks.
- Information about meeting quality scores and network alerts, including health, issue, video, and audio quality.

- Microphone:
- The Zoom client selects a microphone device.
- Speaker:
- Zoom selects a speaker device.
- Camera:
- The Zoom client selects a camera device.
- Data Center:
- A Zoom Data Center that the participant connected to in order to participate in the meeting.
- Connection Type:
- This refers to the type of data protocol that the participant is using.
- Join Time:
- A participant’s time of joining the conference call.
- Leave Time:
- Time when a participant leaves the conference call.
Clicking on one of the buttons for Overall, Audio, Video, or Screen Sharing, as well as the “Packet Loss” and “Latency” tabs, will provide real-time information about the Bitrate, Latency, Jitter, and the Maximum Packet Loss.
When you click on a participant’s name, you will also be able to see more information about their connection. You will see the following information about the device the participant is using:
- Participant:
- Username of the participant.
- Device:
- Type of device the participant is using to connect.
- Location:
- Where the participant is located geographically.
- Remote Address:
- The IP address of the device from which the participant is attempting to connect.
- Version:
- This participant is using Zoom Rooms, the desktop client, or the mobile app.
- Health:
- In case any Warning level issues or Critical level issues arise during the meeting, the meeting leader will issue a warning.
- Issue:
- This feature displays any current connection or client health warnings, including incompatible audio, video, or screen sharing quality, high CPU utilization, or issue with disconnecting and reconnecting.

- Microphone:
- Our Zoom client has detected your microphone device.
- Speaker:
- The Zoom client has detected your speaker device.
- Camera:
- The Zoom client has detected your camera device.
- Data Center:
- In the Zoom meeting, the participant used the Zoom Data Center they were connected to.
- Connection Type:
- The type of protocol the participant is using to connect to the Zoom Data Center.
- In-room Participants:
- How many participants are using that particular device to connect to Zoom.
The following table provides detailed information about Audio, Video, and Screen Share, including bitrate, latency, jitter, and average and maximum packet loss. The framerate and resolution can also be viewed when viewing Video and Screen Sharing.
Also available is the CPU usage information, including the minimum, average, and maximum CPU use by Zoom during meetings/webinars, as well as the maximum CPU use by the system as a whole during the meeting.
There is also a graphical representation of all of this information. Sliders below the graph allow you to reduce or increase the time displayed on the graph for troubleshooting purposes.
Advanced dashboard meeting features
Join Live as an Assistant
If the host of the meeting is currently logged in and in the meeting, and if the co-host feature is enabled, an admin can join the meeting as an assistant while the meeting is running live. A system administrator can use this feature to troubleshoot network, audio, and video issues. How to use it:
- Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.
- Click Dashboard from the navigation panel.
- Click Meetings from the dashboard screen.
- Choose the live meeting you want to attend.
- Type the Meeting ID into the search box.
- Click Join Live as Assistant to join the meeting.
Exporting data in CSV format
The information from past meetings can be exported as a CSV file so that it can be kept as a record or analyzed to determine how your account is being used. You can export a list of meetings over a certain period of time (up to one month) or details of individual meetings.
- Access the Zoom web portal by logging in.
- Select Dashboard from the navigation panel.
- Select Meetings from the list of tabs.
- Select Past Meetings from the list of meetings.
- Select the report you want to generate:
- Click Export to CSV at the top of the page to export the list of meetings in CSV format
- Then, if you wish to export the details of individual participants of a particular meeting, click the Meeting ID number you wish to export, and then choose Extract details to CSV under Export details.
- The quickest way of exporting the details of a participant in a particular meeting is to click the Meeting ID number first, then click the name of the participant. Then click Export details to CSV on the participant’s detail page.
- Click on Downloads at the top of the page once the report has been processed.
- Once the generated report has been accessed, click on Meetings.
- The report will be downloaded and viewed once it has been clicked on Download.
IP usage report
Administrators and owners can view the IP addresses from which participants are connecting to live meetings using the IP usage report. Here is how to access the report:
- You will be directed to Zoom’s web portal after you sign in.
- Click Dashboard from the navigation panel.
- Click Meetings from the dashboard screen.
- Select IP Usage Report.
You will see:
- IP Address:
- This is the public IP address of the meeting currently in progress.
- Location:
- This IP address is located in a specific area.
- Meeting Count:
- Number of meetings in which this IP address is connected.
- Participant Count:
- How many people are connected to this IP address.
You can see the current Meeting IDs associated with a number under the Meeting Count column by clicking on it.
Quality settings
Users can enable network alerts on the Dashboard, as well as meeting quality scores.
Webinars
Meetings are similar to Webinars. Both live and past webinars can be viewed.
The Webinar tab can be accessed by clicking the following link:
- Zoom’s web portal is accessible by signing in.
- Click Dashboard in the menu bar.
- Select Webinars from the list.
- Access historical meeting data by clicking Past Webinars (optional).
In the webinar, all of the information from the meeting participants will be presented to the panelists. Among the basic information you are able to view is the name, device, IP address, location, type of network, device, time they joined or left, and the reason for leaving.
Additionally, webinars are also capable of exportable CSV reports and IP Usage Reports.
