DECT Handset Navigation, Softkeys, and Screen in webex

Your DECT handset has a variety of buttons and features that you need to know about.

Navigation

You can scroll through the menus and move between fields by using the outer ring of the Navigation cluster. To select menu items, you can use the inner Select button that can be found on the Navigation cluster.

Handset screen features

On the screen of your handset you will see information such as your handset’s directory number, its date and time, as well as soft keys you can press. It has three distinct sections: the header, the middle section, and the footer. Each section has several images that make up the bigger picture.

1	The header row of the screen is located at the top of the screen. The header row shows a number of icons as well as the strength of the radio signal and the battery charge of the device. When a feature is active, the icons will display when the feature is active. There is a row of boxes displayed immediately beneath the header row if your organization uses BroadWorks Shared Call Appearance feature.
2	It contains information about the handset such as the date and time of the call, the telephone number of the handset, and the configuration of the handset owner in the middle of the screen.
3	There are a number of softkey labels located at the bottom of the screen. The labels below the screen indicate the action the softkey button will perform when pressed. The softkey labels may sometimes be accompanied by icons above them.

Header Icons

You can see the handset state by looking at the header icons. In this section, you will be able to see a list of header icons and a description of what they mean. Do not disturb (DND) can cause the header row icons to differ when that function is enabled.

Audio Path Icons

		Speaker is off
		Headset in use.
		Handset is muted.

Bluetooth Icons

Icon	DND Mode Icon	Description
		Bluetooth is connected.
		There is a problem with Bluetooth.

Network Icons

Icon	DND Mode Icon	Description
		There is no connection to the network.
		There is a weak connection to the network.
		The network connection should be good.
		Having a better connection to the network.
		Connectivity to the best network possible

Battery Icons

Icon	DND Mode Icon	Description
		There is a problem with the battery. In order to use the handset, you will need to charge the battery.
		There is a charge level of 1% to 24% on the battery. As soon as you can, you should recharge the battery.
		Battery is 25% to 49% charged.
		Battery is 50% to 74% charged.
		Battery is 75% to 100% charged.
		Battery is charging.
