Delete meeting and webinar content created by Webex Assistant for Meetings
When a meeting or webinar that you have hosted has been recorded and highlights have been recorded, they can be deleted if they are no longer needed by you. You can delete the highlights of a webinar or meeting if you have been granted editing privileges by the host and you have been given access to meeting content.
Before you begin
In Webex Meetings, you will be able to access the Webex Assistant.
In addition, with the 41.6 update, it has also been added to Webex Webinars for plans supporting up to 10,000 users. In addition to this, it is an add-on for plans supporting up to 1000 users.
Meetings that aren’t full-featured meetings, but are created or joined from the Webex App, are supported by Webex Assistant as part of the 41.7 update. The Webex Assistant is not supported for meetings that are started from a space or joined from one.
A recording can be deleted by following these steps:
-
Using the navigation bar on the left, click on Recordings.
-
Then you would choose the option next to the recording name, and then you would choose Delete > Delete from the menu.
In the event that a recording is deleted permanently, it remains in the trash for 30 days after being deleted.
-
Under My Recorded Meetings, you can select Delete to permanently delete a recording that is in your trash and it will no longer be accessible.
-
By selecting Trash next to the recording’s name, you will be able to delete it.
There is a difference between deleting the video recording and the transcript embedded in the video recording. When you delete the video recording, it deletes the audio file and transcript for the video recording.
It is possible to delete highlights by viewing the Review and manage highlights created by Webex Assistant for Meetings section.
