Deploying in VMware in Zoom App

Among the on-premise OVF and VMDK files that can be deployed within VMware products are Meeting Connector, Virtual Room Connector, and Recording Connector.

Note: Currently, when deploying the Zoom appliances within ESXI, the current versions of the appliance support only the version of VMware that is supported (6.0 and above).

How to install the Meeting Connector on VMware Workstation or Fusion

  1. From https://zoom.us/account/hybrid/download, download both the OVF and the VMDK to the same folder
  2. Navigate to “Import” in Fusion to open the OVF file, and then follow the wizard’s instructions.
  3. The OVF file can be accessed by clicking on “Open,” then follow the instructions on the import wizard on Workstation.

Note: If you install the VMDK only, the installation will fail
