Disabling Touch Screen Functionality in Zoom App
Zoom Room controls will be displayed on the Zoom Room display when a touch-based display is detected during Zoom Room setup. Touch-screen UI can be disabled, and instead the room is controlled and displayed using the standard setup.
Note:
Please refer to Using a Touch Screen Monitor as a Zoom Rooms Display if you have Zoom Rooms for Windows version 4.4.1 (1242.0623) or lower.
Prerequisites
- Touch for Zoom Rooms
- V4.5.0 (1032.0906) or higher
- On a Windows PC with version 10.x or higher
- That is equipped with touch driver software
- Such as Zoom Rooms Controller for Android or iOS if you have disabled the touch controls
- Zoom Room Appliances
- The latest firmware for Zoom Room Appliances
Disabling touch controls from the web
- Zoom’s web portal is available for signing in.
- Click Zoom Rooms under the Room Management tab.
- On Zoom Rooms, click Edit.
- Enable or disable Touch-screen support for Zoom Rooms under Setup.
Disabling touch controls from the Zoom Room Controller
- Select Settings from the menu.
- Click Room.
- Disable the touch-screen UI by tapping the Touch-screen features button.
- As soon as it is disabled, the Zoom Room UI will appear on the home screen.
