Display the Short Video Address Format for Webex Meetings and Events
You can choose to display the short format in the meeting invitation instead of the full video address after setting up your Webex Meetings deployment to allow video devices to join using the short video address format.
Overview
In the meeting invitation, the short video address is displayed if you have enabled the Short Video Address setting for your Webex site, which lets participants know they can join a meeting with that video address on their video devices when they enable the Short Video Address setting.
We propose that you visit our web site Short Video Address Format for Webex Meetings and Events if you would like to learn more about setting up the short video address format and making it work with your Webex Meetings deployment.
The Video Mesh node always handles your video call when the short video address format is used (meet@webex.com). The node will handle the call even if the call is to a site that does not have Video Mesh enabled on its site.
