Does zoom allow the shift in account owners?
Sometimes there can be a need for transferring the role of the account owner to someone else. As a present account owner, you are eligible for such alterations. Besides that, if you are an account owner then it’s only your discretion to make someone else the owner. Other than you even the admins of the pro account are ineligible for making such changes. The only thing the zoom admin can do is request to become the account owner.

How to reset a password when the owner has left the company?
When the account owner has left your company but still can access the email address then you can do one thing. Just reset the password to gain the permission of the zoom account.
But there can be complications for you in case the owner left the company and you even can’t access the email id. So, in that case, you have to create a ticket in zoom and thus asking for assistance to change the owner. And your request will only be taken into account when you successfully verify your relationship to the zoom account, identity, and related billing info.

Basic requirements for changing zoom account owner.
For availing of the feature, you have to be the account owner. Other than that one should have a credit card, education, pro API partner, business account. Zoom admin who has pro accounts and is not eligible for the CSM can make an account owner request. In case there’s no admin they (members) can also choose the instead option.
How to make the account admin a new owner?
For making the account admin the new owner one first has to zoom sign-in on the web portal. Then follow the steps :
Step 1. Go to the navigation menu and tap on user management followed by users.
Step 2. If the new owner is not a member of the account then tap on add users, to add the new owner of the account.
Remember, the new member at first has to confirm their zoom account. And then shift to users from the pending section. It is only then they can have admin privileges.
Step 3. Tap edit available at the bottom of the row so that the user can after as an admin.
Step 5. There you can change the user role to admin from member.
Step 6. Finally, tap on save.
It is only then if the new owner finds it necessary he can remove the old owner of the zoom account.
How can you relocate owner permission?
To shifting the permission of the owner, you have to do the following steps-
Step 1. First, you have to zoom in to the web portal.
Step 2. Go to the navigation menu and tap on account management followed by account profile.
Step 3. Select the options to change owner.
Step 4. Now you can input the new account owner email id freshly.
Step 5. Tap on change
Step 6. Following the step, the email id of the new owner gets marked on the zoom account profile page. And following that the older owner by default becomes a zoom account admin.
Way to request for becoming account owner. (Applicable for pro accounts).
Those pro account admins have the discretion to request for becoming the account owner by emailing the current account owner approval. In case the account owner does not reply to your sent email, then after seventy-two hours you automatically will become the new account owner. The above conditions are not for CSM eligible accounts. In those cases, the request should be made to the account executive or CSM to seek help.
When there are no present zoom account admins, any member can request to become the account owner.
Stepwise how to request for becoming zoom account owner-
Step 1. First, you have to zoom sign in to the web portal.
Step 2. Go to the navigation menu and tap on account management followed by account profile.
Step 3. Tap on request account ownership.
Step 4. Get your confirmation stating your request for account ownership.
After you complete the steps, the account owner can b
deny or accept the account member’s response within seventy-two hours. In case they fail to respond to the request, that member will become the account owner automatically post 72 hours. If the account responds to you, then you will get a confirmation email.
