Embedded apps on Board and Desk Series devices in webex

As a result of the embedded apps framework within Webex, you will be able to interact with third party applications within Webex.

The embedded apps framework provides a simple interface for connecting your existing web applications to Webex devices and makes it easier to manage them. In Webex Meetings, you have the option to share third party applications and open them on your device while you are in the meeting. The application that you are sharing with other participants can be seen and interacted with by them.

Turn on the web engine by making sure that it is on.

It is possible to use Miro, Slido, and Mural as default applications as they are supported by the system by default.

• On your device, you can participate in a Webex Meeting using Webex Meetings.
• Choose an application from the Apps button by clicking on it.

• On your device, you can open the application by selecting Open together from the menu.

• By tapping on the Maximize button on the device, you will be able to open the application in a larger view. The panel view can be returned to side view by tapping on it again.

You can close the application by tapping on the cross icon displayed at the top right corner of the application when it is opened in side view. There is still an option to access it from the call controls when making a call.
