Enable Cisco Webex Productivity Tools in Microsoft Outlook for Windows
You can enable the Webex Productivity Tools if you’ve installed them but aren’t seeing any Webex options within Outlook. This is the case even if you’ve installed the Webex Productivity Tools.
- Check the preferences you have set for the Webex Productivity Tools:
- From the Windows Start menu, select Webex Productivity Tools
- Select the Settings icon.
- Choose Preferences from the menu.
- Select Tools.
- Make sure that the Microsoft Outlook option is checked.
- Check the settings on your Microsoft Outlook account:
- To add add-ins to Microsoft Outlook, go to the File menu, then choose Options.
- Choose “Disabled Items” from the menu that appears next to “Manage,” and then click the “Go” button.
- Choose the WebexOIAddin(ptolkadd.dll) add-in from the drop-down menu in the Disabled Items dialog box.
- Choose the Enable radio button, then click Close.
