Enabling or disabling shared lines privacy mode in zoom
It is possible for account owners and administrators to enable a privacy feature for shared line groups or shared line appearances (call delegations) for their shared lines. As a result of this, members of a shared line appearance and a shared line group are able to lock a call in order to prevent others from picking up a held call, listening, whispering, barging or taking over the call.

How to enable or disable privacy mode for shared line groups

Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

Select Phone System Management from the navigation menu and then select Shared Lines from the drop-down menu.

In the Shared Line Groups tab, click the Shared Line Groups button.

You can select a shared line group by clicking on its name.

Next to Privacy, select the checkbox next to the option to allow members to lock the call while in a call while they are on the line.
You will be prevented from doing the following if you lock the call:-
A call that is put on hold by a member cannot be picked up by other users of the phone.

The other phone users are not able to monitor the call (listen, whisper, barge, or take over) while it is being made.

Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

Select Phone System Management from the navigation menu and then select Shared Lines from the drop-down menu.

To change the appearance of shared lines, click on the Appearance tab.

The details of a call delegation setup can be accessed by clicking the Details button.

If you select the box next to Privacy, you will be asked if you want to enable the call to be locked while the delegator is on the call.
By locking the call, other users of the phone will not be able to pick up a held call that has been placed on hold by the delegator.
