Enabling webinar livestreaming in zoom

If you choose to allow livestreaming of your Zoom Webinars, you will be able to stream your Zoom Webinars to Facebook, Workplace by Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, or a custom live stream service.

How to enable Allow livestreaming of webinars

Account

For all users in the account to be able to livestream webinars, you need to enable the following setting:

1. Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

2. The Account Settings can be found in the Account Management section of the navigation menu.

3. Click on the Meeting tab on the left side of the screen.

4. You can enable live streaming of webinars by selecting the toggle under the In Meeting (Advanced) section.

5. In the case that a verification dialog appears, click Enable in order for the change to be verified.

6. You need to check the checkbox next to each streaming service you want to allow users in your account to use for live-streaming webinars in your account.

7. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in your account, click the lock icon on the right side of your screen and then click Lock to confirm that you want to make this setting mandatory.

Group

To enable Allow livestreaming of webinars for a group of users:

1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Groups.
3. Click the applicable group name from the list.
4. Click the Meeting tab.
5. Under In Meeting (Advanced), click the Allow livestreaming of webinars toggle to enable it.
6. If a verification dialog appears, click Enable to verify the change.
7. Select the check box next to each streaming service you want to allow users in the group to livestreaming webinars to.
8. (Optional) If you want to make this setting mandatory for all users in the group, click the lock icon , and then click Lock to confirm the setting.

User

Please follow the steps below to enable the ability to livestream webinars for your own use:

1. Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by signing in.

2. Click the Settings link in the navigation menu at the top of the screen.

3. The Meeting tab will appear once you click on it.

4. You can enable live streaming of webinars by selecting the toggle under the In Meeting (Advanced) section.

5. Click Enable to verify the change if a verification dialog appears. If the dialog appears, click Enable to confirm.

6. To livestream webinars to a streaming service, you will need to check the box next to the service you wish to use.
