End-of-meeting experience feedback survey in zoom App
Meeting participants are asked to click either a thumbs up or a thumbs down to indicate how their meeting experience was at the end of the meeting when the feature is enabled. View the end-of-meeting experience survey after each meeting or in random order. Feedback survey results are analyzed and improved by account administrators.
You need to turn on Feedback to Zoom in order to be able to take the end-of-meeting feedback survey. This will add a feedback tab to your desktop client and mobile app settings page. In this way, you can send Zoom feedback at any time, regarding how your meeting went or your experience with the Zoom desktop client or mobile app.
Prerequisites for end-of-meeting feedback survey
- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: version 4.0 or higher
- MacOS: version 4.0 or higher
- The feedback to zoom feature has been enabled
- So that the feedback can be viewed in the Dashboard of a Business or Education account
- Account. To view the feedback in the Dashboard, you must be an owner or admin of the account.
Enabling the post-meeting feedback survey
Account
Users in an account can enable or disable the meeting evaluation survey by following these steps:
- Administrate Zoom by logging into the Zoom web portal.
- Log in to Account Management, and then Account Settings.
- Select Meetings.
- To enable or disable the display of the end-of-meeting experience feedback survey, click the Display end-of-meeting feedback survey toggle.
- Verify that the change is enabled or disabled by clicking Enable or Disable.
- Click on the lock icon and then click Lock to confirm the setting if you want this setting to be mandatory for all users in your account.
Group
Note: For accounts created after August 21, 2021, or accounts that are enabled for the New Admin Experience, Group Management has been renamed to Groups.
Users can turn on or off the end-of-meeting survey by adjusting the following settings:
- As an administrator, sign into the Zoom web portal.
- Under User Management, click Group Management.
- Select an appropriate group from the list.
- Click Meetings.
- To enable or disable the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey, click the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey toggle.
- Verify the change by clicking Enable or Disable in a verification dialog.
Note: It must be changed at the account level if the option is grayed out. - The lock icon is available only if you want this setting to be mandatory for all users in the group. If you want this setting to be mandatory, click the lock icon, and then click Lock to confirm the setting.
User
The following options apply to enabling or disabling our meeting experience survey:
- Zoom’s web portal can be accessed after logging in.
- Click Settings on the navigation bar.
- The Meetings tab will appear.
- Under In Meeting (Basic), you can enable or disable the End-of-Meeting Experience Feedback Survey by selecting the Display end-of-meeting experience feedback survey link.
- Verify that the change has been made by clicking Enable or Disable if a verification dialog appears.
Note: Greyed out options have either been locked at the account or group level. Your Zoom admin needs to be contacted.
How can I use the end-of-meeting feedback survey?
The survey window appears after the meeting is over.
- You will not be asked for any additional information if you click Thumbs Up (Good).
- You will then be asked what was wrong with the meeting if you click Thumbs Down (Bad).
How to view the survey results
- Log in as the account owner or administrator on the Zoom web portal.
- Click the Dashboard link.
- Set the desired reporting period.
- The Zoom Meetings Client Feedback section appears below. All bad feedback is displayed in this chart along with the problem(s) that the user has chosen.
- To download a CSV report of feedback details, click Export details to CSV in the upper-right corner of the chart.
