Error: ‘Can’t record the meeting’ when Attempting to Record a Webex Call or Meeting
When trying to record a Webex meeting or call, you will receive the error message ‘Can’t record the meeting’.
Whenever a member of the Webex room attempts to record a meeting, the error message ‘Can’t record the meeting’ is displayed.
As a result of trying to record a Webex call, the sponsor of the meeting receives an error message.
Meeting sponsors may see the following error message when they attempt to record a Webex meeting or phone call:
A Webex room member trying to record a call or meeting may receive the following error message when trying to record the meeting:
Cause: In the Meeting Sponsor’s Webex host account, Webex file storage has reached the maximum amount available for storage.

Note: The recording file that has been deleted cannot be recovered. In order to ensure proper deletion of the recordings, make sure they are all downloaded to the local machine before they are deleted.
