Error: Failed to get correct parameters while downloading the meeting component, when starting or joining a meeting.

Cause: If you disable TLS 1.2 in Internet Options, you will see the following error message while joining or starting a meeting:

Solution:

To fix this issue, enable TLS 1.2:

1. There is a search box in the taskbar as well. Click on it, type Internet Options, and then click on the button.

2. When you are in Internet Properties, select the Advanced tab, then under Security, check the box that reads Use TLS 1.2.

3. Click the Apply button and then select the OK button.
