Expert on Demand | In-Call Controls- Webex

Basic call controls
When you are on a call using Webex Expert on Demand, the on-screen controls that are available to you can be broken down into several categories.

When Manual Focus is selected, there are 9 focus spots displayed. To zero in on a specific region, simply recite one of the Focus Points 1–9. Simply utter the phrase “Hide Focus Points” to conceal them from public view.
Simply utter the words “Show Controls” followed by “Auto Focus” to switch back to the auto focus mode.
Volume-mention Volume level 1.
There is a range of 1 to 5 for the volume levels.
- Explosure-say Exposure level 1.
The levels of exposure range from one to five.

Flashlight-Just say “Flash On” while you’re on a call.

- Take Photo –Say “take photo” while you’re on the phone call.
The photo is captured on the RealWear HMT, and it is subsequently added automatically to the Webex App space that is associated with the active call. The photo is also saved in the My Photos folder that is located on the HMT.
- End Call –Simply stating “End call” at the end of a call will put an end to the conversation.
The RealWear HMT will exit the area shortly.
Share your screen
When the HMT user is participating in a video call with three or more other experts, they have the ability to share their screen as a shared screen with everyone in the call and stream their own video. This is helpful in situations in which the HMT video needs to be viewed by all of the experts, regardless of who is currently speaking on the call.
1. During the video call, initiate the Share screen command.
2. Speak the command Start now in order to begin sharing the HMT screen.
Say “Don’t show again” in order to check the box and prevent the prompt from appearing again in the future.
3. When you are finished sharing your screen, say “Stop sharing” and then exit the sharing mode.
Remote control
During a direct contact between users of Expert on Demand and desktop users of Webex App, remote control can be made available to both parties. Once you have begun sharing your screen in Expert on Demand, the remote user of the Webex App will be able to take control.
1. While you are on a call with a user of Expert on Demand, click the button labeled Request remote control.
Before the remote user can take control of the computer, the Expert on Demand user must first share their screen with them.
2. In the Expert on Demand menu, select the Approve option to grant the Webex App user control of your display.
- You will receive a notification from Expert on Demand when a remote user of the Webex App is manipulating your device.
- Expert on Demand is the only application on your device that the remote user can use; they have no access to any of the others. They have access to all of the in-call choices while they are in control of the situation. By clicking the buttons, people at a distance can gradually raise the zoom level, as well as the loudness and exposure levels. Additionally, focus points can be clicked on.
3. Say “Regain Control” whenever you want to regain control of the situation.
If you cease sharing your screen with other people, the remote control session will likewise end.

- To change the color of the cursor, first say Color, then speak the name of the color from the menu that appears, and then say Close Color to leave the Color menu.
- Say “Shape,” then from the drop-down menu, say “the name of the shape,” and finally, say “Close Shape” to exit the menu and select a different cursor shape.
- Annotations can be added to a photo in any number you like. In the event that you are dissatisfied with an annotation:
- Say “Undo,” and delete the most recent annotation.
- Say “Discard,” and then get rid of the annotations.
3. When you have completed annotating, select the Done button, and then select the Save photo option.

4. Say “Share” when you are ready to submit the annotated photo to the consultant who is currently on the call.
- When the photo with annotations has been sent to you successfully, you will receive a notification.
- Get a screenshot of it.
Before you begin
You will have the ability to take a screenshot whenever the remote expert shares their screen with the HMT. - Say “Take screenshot” whenever someone shares their screen with you.
- The screenshot was captured and will be stored in your pictures.
- There are both audio and visual choices.
During a call, you have access to a greater number of options, including the ability to mute the video portion of the call or convert to an audio-only mode if bandwidth is an issue.
- Whenever you are on a call, you should say “More.”
The menu labeled “More options” will now display.
2. This is where you may make adjustments to various audio and video settings on your device.
- Simply uttering the word “Mute” will mute or unmute your audio input.
- Simply uttering the phrase “Stop video” will turn off your device.
- Just say “Audio only” and the call will convert to an audio-only mode. Screen sharing and incoming and outgoing video streams will both be disabled as a result of this action. Say Audio video to re-enable video mode.

3. Simply uttering the command “Switch Video” will cause the view to transfer from your camera to the camera of another participant who is sharing. Then you should say “Select item” followed by the number that is located next to the video option.
