Exporting Logs and Configuration Files for Yealink Phones in zoom App
Support teams can troubleshoot issues you may be experiencing with the help of log files and configuration files. If you want to send these files to support for further analysis, you can download them from the web interface.
Prerequisites for exporting logs and configuration files for Yealink phones
- Devices supported by Yealink
- Have been added to the Zoom web portal with the help of Yealink
- Desk phone settings that have allowed access to the Yealink web interface
How to obtain the phone’s IP address
T4 series without touchscreen
- Then click on the Menu button.
- Select Status by using the directional pad on your phone.
- Take note of the IPv4 address that appears.
T4 series with a touchscreen
- Tap the Menu icon on the home screen to open the menu.
- Tap the Status icon on the home screen to open the context menu.
- Here you will see the IPv4 address.
T5 series with a touchscreen
- You can do this by swiping left from the home screen.
- You can then choose Settings.
- Click on the General option.
- Here you will see the IPv4 address.
How to access the phone’s web interface
- Connect your phone to the same network as your computer and open a web browser.
- Type the IP address of the phone.
- Go to the web interface of the phone and log in to the site as an administrator.
Note: You need to enter the password admin and username admin to access the site as an administrator. It is advisable to contact the vendor of the phone if you are unsure of your username or password. In the Zoom web portal, you can view the password if the admin password has been set globally.
How to export logs and configuration files using the phone’s web interface
Note: A slightly different web interface may be available on older Yealink devices with the green header bar.
- To configure your account, navigate to Settings > Configuration.
- To enable local logs, make the following changes:

- Section Local Log
- Enable Local Log: Choose On or Enable.
- Local Log Level: Change it to 6.
- Max Logfile Size: Type in 2048.
- The Syslog section is optional.
Note: Visit Yealink’s support site to learn how to set up syslog.- Enable Syslog: Select Enable or On.
- Syslog Server: Provide the server address where the logs should be exported.
- Syslog Transport Type: Set to TCP.
- Syslog Level: This should be changed to 6.
- Section Local Log
- To begin logging, click Start.
- Restart the phone and try again.
- After two to three minutes, click Stop. The allconfig.zip file will be generated and downloaded automatically. If not, click Export.
