Find your Webex recordings
Your Webex meetings are saved either directly on your computer or on your Webex site, depending on which option you choose when using Webex. Your Webex account gives you access to your recordings, allowing you to listen to, share, or download them. If it’s not your gathering, contact the host of the meeting you want the recording of so they can send it to you.
About your recording
If you are a host, you can obtain the recording by going to the Webex site and selecting the Recordings menu option.
In your capacity as an attendee, the host of the meeting will provide you with access to a recording of the conference. Keep an eye out for an email sent by the server, which should contain a link to the recording file. You can also find out how to get in touch with the person who is hosting your gathering.
A gathering can only be recorded if the host or a cohost is present. If the recording choice is not present in the meeting controls, then you will not be able to record the meeting. If the cohost captures the meeting, the recording will be given to the meeting host after it is over, and the host will retain ownership of the recording.
If you subscribe to Webex through your Service Provider but do not see these choices, please contact the customer support team of your Provider for more information about the recording options that are available to you.
Find your cloud recordings
- Please log in to your Webex account.
- To view all of the recordings you have made using Webex, select Recordings from the left navigation column.
Find your local recordings
- For Windows: The Documents folder in My Computer is where you can find any recordings that you initiated while you were in the middle of a meeting.
- For Mac: Using Finder, you can navigate to the Home subdirectory to listen to or download any recordings that were begun within a meeting.
These are the locations where your local recordings will be saved by default; however, you have the option of changing where the recordings are saved at any time.
