Frames in Webex Meeting
Using the camera mode Frames gives everyone a better view.
Selecting the appropriate shooting mode The view that is sent from your meeting room looks better with frames. The Frames option may clip away unnecessary space around participants and build a perspective in which the persons look closer together, evenly scaled, and at the same eye level, in as many as four individual frames. In order to provide a sense of continuity across the space, the individuals who are seated in frames next to one another will be grouped together.
In order to activate frames:
Turn on your Board or Touch controller and navigate to the Control Panel. Touch the camera.
Make your selection under the Camera mode labeled Frames.
If there are more than four persons in the room, those people will be grouped into frames, or the view will be changed to a Group view, which will display all of the individuals that are there.
Combining Frames and People focus
A better overall picture of the meeting is provided by the Frames mode, which eliminates unnecessary space surrounding participants and “frames” them so that they look closer together. This may be done either individually or in groups. You can observe the impact that the usage of frames had on the grid arrangement of this meeting in the example that is shown below. The following individuals, who are seen in a conference room (top left corner), are each given their own separate frame in order to emphasize their presence on the screen:
Enabling People focus from the Layout menu will allow you to make even better use of the space on your screen when you are participating in a Webex Meeting. This option will dynamically improve the layout of your page by utilizing all of the available space and ensuring that everyone will receive an equal portion of the screen. You may see the same meeting depicted below with an emphasis on both the frames and the attendees:
